Faculty Focus is an interview series with university faculty, researchers, and school practitioners working at the front line of education digitization. The series built its livestreams and polished recorded interviews around the field's most active questions: teaching and learning in the AI era, the policy concept of the Future Learning Center, and related themes.
Over the past year, the series evolved from relatively one-off livestreams into a serialized content system spanning livestreams, short cut-down clips, and more editorialized mid-length videos. Production was overhauled across the board, with an emphasis on first-hand material: real-classroom footage, office and campus visits, in-depth sit-down conversations, and student interviews as a supporting perspective.
A recurring through-line across the interviews is that education digitization does not happen overnight. It takes decisive policy direction, the right technology infrastructure, the careful rollout of foundational systems like the LMS and AI, and patience through execution. Most of all, it takes teachers with the initiative and urgency to reshape their own classrooms for a generation of digital-native students.
After taking over, the channel's following grew by more than 20% within three months, with recorded mid-length videos consistently drawing tens of thousands of views per piece.
